This renovation provided an opportunity to delve into the life and times of President Harry S. Truman. A farmer and veteran who never graduated college, Truman was thrust into the presidency when President Roosevelt died in the midst of World War II. Truman’s decisions are acutely relevant to contemporary American life and governance.
Roles + Responsibilities:
- Led Museum content development and research in SD & DD phases;
- Interviewed client and experts to craft exhibit narrative options;
- Outlined, drafted, revised and edited text panels, interactives, timelines + captions;
- Contributed exhibit and interactive ideas in collaboration with design team;
- Managed artifact and image research, inventory and acquisition.
